WHAT IS GAIN AFRICA?

GAiN Africa is a continental conference designed to allow local communication leaders to participate in the GAiN experience. Through keynote presentations, panels and networking, communication leaders from across Africa and other visiting regions can learn more about the opportunities and challenges within communication as well as explore innovative ideas and how to apply them in their local context.

Dive into Gold Reef City’s Gold Mine adventure! Descend into deep tunnels, experience a miner’s drill, and explore the hard conditions they faced. On the surface, witness gold turning into bars and traditional dances.

$65 Historical Day Tour

We will be having a tour on Sunday (leave the hotel at 9 a.m. and come back to the hotel by 5 p.m.). Please consider this when planning your departure.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

The following are the costs of Registration for GAiN Africa:

  • Early Bird (July 3 – October 10, 2023) – $99
  • Regular (October 11, 2023, until sold out) – $124

WHAT DOES MY REGISTRATION INCLUDE?

Registration includes all conference meetings, panels, snacks & lunch

Upon checking in for the event, you will receive your lanyard and badge.

WHERE DO I REGISTER?

Thanks for your interest in GAiN Africa. Tickets are sold out. Registration is closed.

TRANSPORTATION

Transportation will be provided to and from tour sites. 

Registrants should arrange transportation to and from their airport or point of entry, hotels, and conference centre.

The Hotel provides shuttle services from the OR Tambo Airport to the hotel.

LODGING AND FOOD

The Southern Africa-Indian Ocean Division has arranged for lodging, as well as breakfast and dinner, at Birchwood Hotel at reduced rates.

Rates are:

  • Single occupancy: $92 per night
  • Double occupancy: $166 per night
