20 For 7: Finding Our Voice
The 2019 GAiN conference, February 22 – March 1, 2019, in Amman, Jordan.
As Seventh-day Adventists, we believe it is vital to use the voice of our 20 million members to bring awareness to the issues impacting the more than 7 billion people around the world. We are only powerful when we speak together, with one voice. That is why this year, for #GAiN19 we chose the theme “20 for 7: Finding our voice.”
In partnership with The Adventist Development and Relief Agency, we will give Adventist Communicators the opportunity to use their talents and skills to participate in a global advocacy campaign for education. Participants will also be able to use the tools learned at this year’s GAiN and apply them to their own campaigns and work flow at home.
The Seventh-day Adventist Church believes in education for all. Education can bring freedom to those who are oppressed, healing to those who are searching for faith and hope for a brighter tomorrow.

Frequently Asked Questions
How can I contact the organizer with any questions?
Please send an email to [email protected].
Can I pay in cash for my hotel?
No. Your hotel cost will be paid when you register.
What if I’m sharing a room?
If you are sharing a room with family or a colleague, please indicate that during the registration process. You will also need to indicate the name of the person you will be rooming with. Your hotel price will adjust accordingly.
NOTE: The person you are rooming with will also need to register.
How can I register my spouse?
To register your spouse, GAiN’s cost this year is structured a little different then in past years. The hotel has given us a rate of $135 per night, all meals included. When you add a spouse or roommate, the cost is an additional $85 per night. When you select a non-single room, your price changes from $135 per night to $110 per night per person. The other costs of registering for GAiN, like the $145 fee and the tours are per person charges. The GAiN registration fee covers the airport pickup and return, and the Sabbath afternoon tours.
On the last step before payment, you will be given the option to add an additional registrant. Go through and add your spouse, using the same options you selected, but listing you as their roommate. Once completed, you will be able to pay for both of you together.
How about Family Registrations?
To register as a family, register like normal, but on the “Hotel and Accommodations” page, you need to select “Family Room” for the room type. Once you have done that, list your spouse name as roommate and select the age for your child/children. (Children 6 and under are free.) Your price will adjust from the accommodation and food rate of $135 per night, to the averaged rate of $110 per night ($135 for the first person, $85 for the second).
On the last step before payment, you will be given the option to add an additional registrant. Go through and add your spouse (who will register for a “Family Room”), and any additional children over the age of 7 (who will select a “Child” room), using the same options you selected, but listing you as their roommate, Once completed, you will be able to pay for all of you together.
